Transnational Islamic votes

Muslim votes? Or, ‘No’ to ethnic cleansing?

To secure Muslim votes Sonia Gandhi’s Congress Party says ‘no’ to Hindus of Malaysia who face ethnic cleansing – seeds of secession for Tamil to form a Tamil Nation

Raju Moorthy, Dec. 9, 2007

Shame on Gandhi family. Shame on Indian politicians. Shame on those the Congress Party and the Communists. The Indian Government led by Sonia Gandhi’s Congress party showed the audacity to say ‘no’ to Hindraf of Malaysia.

After exhausting all legal avenues and other channels against alleged rthnic cleanisng of Hindus in Malaysia, Hindraf, spearheading the protests by ethnic Indians in Malaysia, has appealed to New Delhi to stop the "ethnic cleansing" in the Muslim-dominated nation.

But the Indian Government has showed them the ‘highway’. Simply put, External Affairs Ministry said to the Hindus of Malaysia – ‘take a hike and go away’.
Waytha Moorthy, in India for a day before heading to Geneva and Washington for support could only meet the leader of the Opposition, L K Advani.

India is not going to give the protesting Malaysians more traction. This is clear from the recent actions of the government that they consider the protests to be part of an internal matter of Malaysia, because these were all Malaysian citizens. To the extent that they are persons of Indian origin, they would receive notional support from India.

What India is doing is a grave mistake. After this most likely Tamils will decide to fight for a Tamil nation. The seeds of secession are the effect of Congress parties blunder. They did it in mid eighties when LTTE got traction. They are doing the same now again when Hindraf will become another LTTE.
